Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. Famrobe uses the Apple Account you're already signed in with. If you're signed in to iCloud, your closet is backed up and synced to your other devices. If not, everything is saved on that device only.
How do I share the closet with my partner?
Open Settings in Famrobe and tap Share with family, then send the invitation, for example with Messages. The other person needs Famrobe and their own Apple Account. Once they accept, you both see and edit the same closet. If you use Apple's Family Sharing, one purchase covers the whole family.
My things don't show up on my other iPhone or iPad
Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account, that iCloud is turned on for Famrobe (Settings → your name → iCloud), and that they're online. Syncing can take a minute or two.
The background isn't removed well
Background removal runs on your device. It works best when the garment is laid flat or hung against a plain background with some contrast, in good light.
How do I pass outgrown clothes to a younger sibling?
When you raise a child's size, Famrobe offers to mark the smaller clothes as outgrown. They then appear under Outgrown on the Smart tab, where one tap hands them down to the next younger sibling.
How do I turn reminders on or off?
In Settings in Famrobe, under Reminders, choose season swaps and things lent out.
I got a new phone. How do I get Famrobe back?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the App Store, tap your picture and choose Apps to download Famrobe again at no cost. With iCloud on, your closet comes back by itself.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing: we don't collect any. Read the privacy policy.
